Last weekend I headed to Monterey with the family to spend a night away and so that I could meet up with the awesome duo Lola + Victor. Now I will never forget this session as long as I am a photographer I promise you that. At the beginning of the session we encountered a drive by pooping by a bird that had to have been of a size no man has ever seen before. After a few choice words for the bird we moved on to the ocean side which seemed to be a safe enough location but of course that was not going to be the case. The tide came up so quickly that while I was snapping away (and not paying attention to the waves) the water came and swept in and Victor’s foot was soaked! Later in a most graceful move I almost fell backwards but thankfully I regained my balance. Yes, it was quite an eventful session but I had a really good time hanging with these two and getting to know them a bit before the big day.
