Dana + Dave – Shell Beach + San Luis Obispo

These two were up for just about anything and it was SO MUCH FUN! We headed to the beach to start off their session since they are coming to SLO for their wedding  they wanted to capture a bit of the areas scenery…. I jokingly mentioned that I have bad luck when it comes to beach shots and all of my couples get wet some way or another…. shortly after my brief comment the tide came up so quickly that we were almost trapped in a small cove thankfully Dave has quick reflexes and grabbed the 2nd camera I had w/ me before it got washed away. So we moved it down the beach a bit to an area we thought seemed safe enough… until the water came up again and this time they weren’t so lucky and Dave got pretty wet. They laughed through the whole thing. See I told you they were awesome. So we headed to a huge grassy area and they didn’t even flinch when I asked if they would be willing to lay down in the tall grass. I’m sure they realized they would probably start itching the moment they got up but again for the sake of amazing pictures they were again such troopers! After that we headed up to San Luis to a gorgeous field of wild flowers and from there is was smooth sailing… lots of laughs + good times. They are just all around great people and I can’t wait for their wedding later this year out at Holland Ranch… it is going to be an event like no other!
