I realized a while ago that I am a visual learner. I need to see things and it just clicks in my head. I have sat down a few times to write a “what to wear” blog post with a slew of helpful hints and tricks but I am a pretty poor writer. I’m not afraid to admit it. So, in an effort to help show some great clothing options, ideas and of course some great tips I am starting “what to wear” blog posts. Just a few words and I think something that maybe packs a little more of a punch for us visual learners, inspiration boards! :)
So for my first helpful tip: When your selection clothing for your session one option is to pick one or two neutral colors and then add one or two colors that will pack a punch. Cream, brown, grey, black even navy are all neutrals in my book. Then the pop of color is your wild card. Your something fun. You use this color sparingly and in accessories to layer the color in. For this next board I selected grey and cream as my neutral colors and then added blue and purple to pack the punch. Notice that when I selected grey as my neutral I went ahead and used different shades of grey. It’s much better to coordinate rather to match exactly!
