I don’t know how I got so lucky, but my job takes me to the most breathtaking locations. Big Sur is one of those places that steals my heart every time I visit. The stunning scenery, the peaceful atmosphere, and the endless views make it a dream for engagement sessions. Every time I return, I find something new to love, making each session unique and unforgettable.

From winding riverways to golden fields surrounded by towering trees, Big Sur offers so many incredible backdrops. The coastal cliffs, rugged shorelines, and ocean views create a dramatic and romantic setting. And then there’s the beach—one of my favorite spots—where the sand has a beautiful purple hue, adding a magical touch to every photo. It’s no surprise that I love wandering through this landscape, capturing special moments for amazing couples.

For this session, we were lucky to find the perfect location while Stephen was home from the service. Their love for the outdoors and easygoing personalities made Big Sur the perfect fit. They embraced every moment, from walking along the shoreline to laughing together in the open fields. Their connection was effortless, and it truly showed in every photograph.

A Relaxed and Natural Setting

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is the chance to capture couples in a relaxed, natural setting. Without the pressure of a wedding day, they can simply enjoy being together. The way they looked at each other, the laughter they shared, and the quiet, intimate moments in between made this session so special.
