Erin & Oma at Carondelet House

I feeling super thankful today!!! Style Me Pretty featured Erin and Omar’s vintage romance wedding at Carondelet House!

Erin and Omar were married at the Carondelet House, a stunning 1928 Italian villa in the heart of LA. To say that I have been excited to photograph this wedding would be an understatement. Enter Erin and Omar. Now Erin just so happens to be a wedding photographer herself. Which I’m sure you can imagine just adds to the oh-my-gosh this is gonna be awesome factor! Because c’mon as a wedding photographer you get to see all of the first hand gorgeousness on a weekly basis. The day arrived and ooohhh—eeeemmmm—gggeeee. Yup, that’s right. It was down right stunning. I can only imagine that it was exactly what Erin wanted because it was pure perfection. Kuddos to all of her amazing vendors who were such a pleasure to work along side. It was such an incredible day.

How did you and Omar meet? We met in high school. We ran track & cross country together and would never get picked up on time. So we would find ourselves being the only ones left waiting after practice…. so naturally we would talk. After a while we liked each other. And started requesting not being picked up on time  😉  Then so started the omaerin adventure. 10 years later…. we are getting married lol.

How did Omar pop the question? We had breakfast and he had one of the employees give me an envelope with the first scavenger hunt instructions while he left. His sister was waiting outside to be my “chauffer” with a fake mustache on and then she drove me around to each clue. He chose all the significant spots for memories through out the history of us and everything ended at a location we had never been to, Crystal Cove. I walked down to the beach and there he was waiting on a rainy cloudy day (it had been raining all day and magically the rain made everyone leave the beach and stopped at just the right time for when he actually proposed).
