After 10, yes, 10 years together these two finally said I do. They rented the Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse the most amazing wedding venue tucked in the San Ynez Mountains for not only the wedding but to house a good majority of friends + family who were visiting. The Figueroa Farmhouse is 200 years old and sits on the most gorgeous property with golden rolling hills and large oak trees. It is simply stunning. The whole day was so relaxed. When I arrived on site Amelia and her buddies were all sitting around a large table filled with a rainbow colored collection of flowers. See Amelia+Ryan really wanted this day to reflect them so what better way than to enlist everyone to chip in and make it personal. All of the ladies put together the floral arrangements including all of the bouquets. Ryan’s sister baked an assortment of treats for the guests to enjoy at the reception, including the brides favorite cake! The boys set up chairs and drink stations and tied up loose ends. You would think with so many personalities and so much to do everyone would be panicked but it was the exact opposite. Everyone laughed and told stories and just all around had an amazing time getting things set up. The wedding went off without a hitch. And the party was filled with lots of love and laughter. I truly felt privileged to capture the day for them.
