Yes, I always say how much I love my couples and how awesome their weddings were. Which is always true. I do end up with amazing clients. But I definitely appreciate them and their weddings for completely different reasons. Not only was this wedding at a gorgeous Malibu wedding venue the Cypress Sea Cove overlooking the ocean but there were also some great personal touches throughout. Jason the groom and DIY’er created all of the wooden tree slice centerpieces and all of the flower napkin ring holders – now that’s what I call love! Then we have Julie… oh how I will always remember Julie and her gorgeous tulle dress that was wet and dirty by the time we ended our sunset portrait session at the beach. Now I would never ever have a bride get wet and dirty to this point on her wedding day UNLESS, of course she didn’t mind. How did I get so lucky that this was the case with Julie?!?! She didn’t care if it got dirty or wet… she just wanted awesome pictures and I think we accomplished that and more. I will always remember having to run underneath a Malibu mansion because the tide had come up so high and we needed to reach dry land. It was a little mission but the reward was so worth it. Their beach sunset pictures were stunning to say the least. In Jason + Julie’s case it totally paid off to be a fun and fearless couple on their wedding day! It was a wedding I will never forget and Julie has set the bar pretty high for any future fearless brides!
