I just loved everything about Whitney and Shane’s Mattei’s Tavern wedding. Although, I knew I would. I met Whitney the year before when she was a bridesmaid at Kelsi and Shaun’s wedding. Whitney was so sweet and I just knew we were going to have tons of fun together. Fast forward to Whitney and Shane’s wedding day. I distinctly remember walking into the reception space and gasping. Oh, the COLOR!!! Oh, the gorgeous color. Color in the linens, cups, candles, oh my. It was everywhere and I was smitten. It looked like the perfect Central Coast sunset had been melted down and sprinkled across the tables. At least that’s how I envisioned Vanessa Noel Events creating this magical space.
I hope that mismatched bridesmaids dresses never go out of style. They’re my favorite. Just look at how gorgeous each of these ladies look. That’s the look of confidence right there. It comes when you’re able to pick out exactly which dress style matches your body! And it doesn’t hurt that this color is pure perfection and the dark flowers pack punch.
You better believe I was excited when I found out the McConnell’s ice cream truck was making an appearance. Their ice cream is soooooo good. And they were serving it up with brownies. Hmmm. Brownies.
