Amy and Luke had a beautiful Old Whaling Station wedding in Monterey, CA. The day was coordinated by the super talented and very lovely Alana owner of Love Me Simple and the amazing flowers were brought up to Monterey by April Flowers of San Luis Obispo. Now I have been looking forward to this wedding for quite some time now. Not only because I knew I would be teaming up with some truly talented ladies, and not only because I knew I was going to be photographing an Old Whaling Station wedding, but also because I just fell in love with these two during their engagement session. It is still to this day one of my all time favorite sessions. The way these two can just look at each other and you can feel the love they share. It is just amazing to watch and witness. They are two very kind hearted and wonderful people and I knew it would be a really great day. Boy was I right. The wedding was true perfection and the energy was so positive and infectious. From start to finish the whole day was even better than I imagined. The details were perfection, Amy was stunning and I haven’t seen the dance floor moving as much as it was that night in quite some time.

To my future Monterey brides, if you are looking for a charming venue just steps from the Monterey Bay you will definitely need to check out the Old Whaling Station! The grounds are gorgeous and the location can’t get much better right in near the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf.
