Sara & Mike at Robert Hall Winery

Sara and Mike were married at the gorgeous Robert Hall Winery on a beautiful spring day. There was absolutely no shortage of amazing moments, oh and don’t even get me started on the fantastic details. No, wait… go ahead and get me started on the details!!! 🙂 The one thing that I was seriously smitten over was the fact that not only were there amazing details but the details all had meaning. As you experienced the day with them you began to learn their story. From the jars of salsa that served as favors but also told their “salsa story”. The seriously charming broach on Sara’s bouquet that held a picture of her dog Chunk who wasn’t able to make the trip from Chicago. The moment they took out from their ceremony to officially update their Facebook status to “married” was so fitting since they met on Myspace years previously. The Chicago style hot dog stand that was brought out for a late night snack, these two currently live in the windy city and Mike’s wooden Chicago Bulls cufflinks showed his love of basketball and his Chi-town teams. These were just a few of the things that showed who they were and just made you want to smile. The day truly represented these two in every way and I am beyond thrilled I was there to capture it with them.
