I still remember my first conversation with Christine. Within seconds, her bubbly personality and deep love for Brent shone through. I immediately felt a connection.

She excitedly shared how they reconnected in San Diego after college. They had met at Cal Poly SLO but found themselves in the same city years later. A friendship soon turned into something much more.

Christine’s vision for her Higuera Ranch wedding was stunning. At the time, the venue was new to the area. I couldn’t wait to see what it had to offer. From that moment, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding. Thankfully, she felt the same.

A Venue Full of Charm

As the months passed, my excitement grew. Higuera Ranch quickly became one of my favorite places for shoots. The venue offers golden hills, open fields, and a rustic barn. Towering trees and a charming vineyard provide the perfect photo backdrop.

Beyond its beauty, the ranch offers a unique experience. There’s plenty of space for guests to stay the entire weekend. This creates an intimate, relaxed atmosphere where everyone can celebrate together.

A Perfect Wedding Day

The wedding day arrived, and I couldn’t have asked for more. I was at a venue I adored, photographing a couple I had fallen in love with. To make it even better, I worked alongside vendors who feel like family. A special shoutout to my girls at Danae Grace Events and Precious and Blooming!
